Who we are
The mission of the Child Advocacy Center of Sedgwick County (CACSC) is to promote the safety, health, and emotional wellbeing of abused children and their caregivers by bringing together public, private, and community partners. Our vision is to lead our community in eliminating the suffering of abused children. The CACSC is committed to protecting the privacy of personal information gathered from our supporters. The CACSC collects personal information supplied to us voluntarily by individuals or supporters through website and social media platforms, or through the use of our services. We restrict access to personal information to CACSC employees, contractors or other agents who need to know that information in order to process it. We hold these individuals to strict confidentiality obligations. Any breech of confidentiality will result in discipline or termination. Charitable Donations
If you choose to donate to the CACSC through the website or other fundraising platform used by our organization, your credit card information will be used only for the one-time transaction through a secure online payment system. For recurring gifts or pledges, the information will be retained securely and only for the duration of the gift or pledge. The CACSC does not otherwise retain or provide credit card information to third parties. Any donations collected through third parties such as Amazon Smile are processed by those websites. In those instances, personal financial information is not provided to the CACSC.
If you choose to send a gift through postal mail, including tribute or memorial gifts, the CACSC will send you a one-time thank you letter directly to you or notify the honoree of the donation.
