Recognizing Abuse

It can be difficult to tell from a child’s emotional state, behavior, or certain injuries if the child is being abused. Many people assume that children at risk for victimization are neglected or from dysfunctional homes. All children, in all socioeconomic classes and home environments may be at risk.
