Beyond Pink and Blue: Gender and Early Childhood

During this training early childhood professionals and caregivers will learn about the complexities of gender in early childhood. This training will include a history and definitions of gender and sexual identity. We will discuss gender roles, stereotypes, and biases and how they relate to early childhood. We will look at how our own biases affect our work with children and families. Participants will learn ways to create a gender inclusive early childhood environment.
