National Child Abuse Prevention (CAP) Month recognizes the importance of families and communities working together to strengthen families to prevent child abuse and neglect. Through this collaboration, prevention services and supports help protect children and produce thriving families.  It is the responsibility of adults to provide the safe, stable, and nurturing relationships and environments that help children thrive.  Join us in our effort to raise awareness and impact positive change!

Child Safety Fair

Join us this Saturday for the 3rd Annual Child Safety Fair in partnership with the Wichita Area Sexual Assault Center! 🎪💛

This event is dedicated to promoting the safety and well-being of children in our community through education, resources, and fun activities.

Attendees can enjoy snacks, interactive crafts, toys, and hula hoops, along with a Personal Safety Awareness Storytime and meet and greets with a variety of beloved characters. The event also includes performances by local cultural groups, visits from emergency vehicles, and the Wichita Public Library Book Bus.

The atmosphere will be lively, inclusive, and focused on fun, learning, and community connection. Bring the whole family for a day of learning, exploring, and connecting with local organizations committed to child safety.

Together, we can build a safer community for every child. We look forward to seeing you there! Be on the lookout for more information.
