Abby Martinez

Abby graduated from Wichita State University in 2015 with a degree in Psychology. While she doesn’t hold any professional licenses yet, her background includes working as a Student Support Advocate with The Pando Initiative at Jefferson Elementary, where she supported children by helping remove barriers that might get in the way of their learning- like connecting them to basic needs, lunch groups, mentors, tutoring, and after school programs. She is excited to continue her advocacy work here at the CACSC because she truly believes in the importance of providing compassionate support during difficult times. Even though she just started, she already enjoys being a part of a mission that helps children and families navigate challenges with care and understanding. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband and their dog, Bo, binge-watching New Girl, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
