Jodie graduated from Bethel College in 2005 with a degree in social work and is licensed as a bachelor’s level social worker (LBSW). Her first job after college was working for the Department of Children and Families (DCF) as a Social Work Specialist. Needing a break from child welfare she went to work for Ascension Via Christi as a Patient Relations Representative for a few years, however she missed working with families and started as a Child Family Advocate at the CACSC in January 2020. She loves the CACSC and the work she does here as she gets to help families and children who are going through challenging times. A fun fact about Jodie is she has recently become a Lego enthusiast and has multiple adult Lego sets on display around her home.
