Alanie Stalcup

Alanie (Lanie) Stalcup joined the Child Advocacy Center of Sedgwick County in 2023, bringing a strong background in communication and a passion for connecting people to meaningful causes. She graduated from Emporia State University in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in communication and spent the early part of her career working in Admissions at her alma mater, helping students find their path and feel at home.

In 2022, Alanie made the move to Wichita, drawn to its vibrant community and opportunities to grow in the nonprofit world. As Development Manager at CACSC, she thrives on building relationships, raising awareness, and bringing people together to support children and families impacted by abuse. Meeting passionate, community-minded individuals from across the city is her favorite part of the job.

Outside of work, Lanie enjoys spending time with her people, being outdoors, reading, and trying new recipes in the kitchen. She’s almost always planning some sort of event—whether it’s a fundraiser or a fun night with friends. And when it’s time to relax, you’ll find her catching up on her favorite reality TV shows (the more dramatic, the better—Love Island, Big Brother, Real Housewives… she’s seen them all). She shares her home with her partner, three dogs, and three cats who keep life full of love, laughter, and just the right amount of chaos.
