And nearly half (43%) of U.S. college women report experiencing violent or abusive dating behaviors.\nEach February\, young adults and their loved ones nationwide raise awareness about teen dating violence through Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month (TDVAM). This is done through a training curriculum that educates participants on adverse childhood experiences\, trauma\, brain development and resilience. Connections Matter ultimately strives to promote the building of more resilient\, compassionate\, and trauma-informed communities – thus allowing all children and individuals to succeed.
