Toni has over a decade of experience working with children and families in need of support. Her passion has always been supporting people in their darkest days and watching them flourish with hard work and her support. Coming to the CACSC almost seven years ago was eye opening for her in the sense of not really understanding the level at which abuse happens- it is heartbreaking. Learning to sit with children and families during one of their hardest days is something most people cannot wrap their head around but that something is so important. Having the ability to support and listen to the children and families that walk through our doors is a key component needed to work this role.
She loves the CACSC for so many reasons but a few of them are the incredible humans that work there. In addition, being a positive piece to someone’s hardest time is part of her “why”. Watching someone find the light again is something that keeps her going. Life is hard but it can also be so amazing. She has met some incredible people that have changed her life more than she might have changed theirs, but she appreciates being able to be a part of their journey. When she is not at work, she enjoys being outside, reading, spending time at the lake or her pool, enjoying quality time with her family and dog, or driving one of her old cars.
