When the Child Advocacy Center of Sedgwick County brings all services together under one roof the parent and child will have 1-stop to meet their needs. With one location for service provision, the service team members can be involved from the start of this process. This eliminates the need for the child to tell of their abuse over and over. It also means a parent can help their child without the stress of juggling multiple appointments over multiple days. Allowing the child and parent to start the healing process sooner... 
How you can help...
Our immediate need is to raise a minimum of $171,000, which is the approximate amount for the CAC to operate one-year with no additions in staff or relocation of services...
Other needs include:
- Financial Contributions (to be used for, but not limited to)
- Funding for three full-time staff - two Child/Family Advocates and the Multidisciplinary Team Coordinator
- General Operating Expenses
- Lease or purchase a site to meet victim needs in one location
- Renovation/remodeling costs
- Re-location expenses
- Public Announcements to increase public awareness
- Professional Advice/Consultation
- Building renovations and costs
- Architectural design and recommendations
- Graphic design and concepts for donor recognition
- Gas cards for families accessing our services
- Banquet or dining hall for fundraising dinner/event
