How You Can Help

The Child Advocacy Center of Sedgwick County is a non-profit charitable organization that depends on grants, government funding, foundation, corporate and individual support. See 2008 - 2009 Contributors List. Coming soon 2009 - 2010 Contributors List.

Our immediate need is to raise a minimum of $171,000, which is the approximate amount for the CAC to operate one-year with no additions in staff or relocation of services...

Other needs include:

  • Financial Contributions (to be used for, but not limited to)
    • Funding for three full-time staff - two Child/Family Advocates and the Multidisciplinary Team Coordinator
    • General Operating Expenses
    • Lease or purchase a site to meet victim needs in one location
    • Renovation/remodeling costs
    • Re-location expenses
    • Public Announcements to increase public awareness
  • Professional Advice/Consultation
    • Building renovations and costs
    • Architectural design and recommendations
    • Graphic design and concepts for donor recognition
  • Gas cards for families accessing our services
  • Banquet or dining hall for fundraising dinner/event
